In Kuorum we have developed an anonymous voting system as a result of a research project co-funded by the CDTI, in collaboration with leading universities in the field of cryptography and digital security.
Thanks to this joint work, we have reached the state of the art in secret voting technology, combining anonymity, traceability and verifiability, in a fully integrated and usable online voting process for people with very different ages and digital skills.
Our application for anonymous online voting uses advanced encryption mechanisms and techniques that allow the dissociation of the voting sign and the voter's identity. This ensures that no vote can be linked to the voter who cast it, while allowing an external auditor to verify the validity and integrity of the results.
End-to-end verifiability: total confidence in results
Kuorum' s secret ballot functionality offers end-to-end verifiability, an essential feature to ensure transparency in any electoral process. This means that, in the event of a challenge, an independent expert can check the validity of the results without ever accessing the sign of each participant's vote.
Thanks to this technology, the results of an online secret ballot are auditable, transparent and legally sound, preventing a judicial authority from declaring the vote invalid due to lack of guarantees.
