Kuorum offers different levels of service to suit the needs of each client. Numerous golf clubs conduct their elections, assemblies and meetings with our technology. The conditions of the service depend very much on the client's ability to manage the different stages of each process. In the case of the Real Club de Golf Las Brisas elections, the organization had an electoral board composed of five members who were responsible for ensuring the transparency and security of the elections.
Once the candidate registration period had closed, Kuorum provided training for the board members. This training covered both technical and operational aspects: cleaning and uploading the voter list, sending out invitations and reminders, assisting voters both on-site and remotely, resolving incidents, and opening the ballot box. Kuorum’s technology allows golf clubs and other sports organizations to manage their elections and assemblies independently and with the highest level of guarantees.

One of the main concerns organizations face when implementing electronic voting—whether in-person or remote—is whether their voters will be able to complete the process without issues. The two-factor identification process is similar to what we use when making an online purchase or accessing a bank account. It represents the highest level of security according to electronic identification regulations, yet it’s simple enough for anyone to complete without difficulties. Once this step is completed, the voter only has to select their preferred options and click a button to vote. Kuorum’s technology encrypts the vote on the voter’s device, thereby anonymizing it before it is registered on our servers. The homomorphic property of the applied cryptography allows us to count the votes without ever knowing how each individual voted.
Instant results
Ballot counting is one of the most tedious processes—and one with the highest margin for error—in paper-based elections. With Kuorum, the electoral board can access the final results just seconds after the electronic ballot box is opened. Our records are immutable thanks to timestamping technology. In the event of a challenge, a judge or an expert can certify the accuracy of the results without knowing how each person voted.
