The challenges of the National Assembly

The National and Provincial Assemblies of Scouts of Mexico were held entirely in person, with hundreds of paper ballots and manual counts that lasted hours, and the time required to verify the votes was the main obstacle to be addressed. Added to this was the reliability of the results, since human errors forced to repeat the counts routinely, thus generating a feeling of uncertainty and distrust among the participants. In addition, it was practically impossible to control who was present to ensure a quorum in real time. In addition, each attendee could have different voting permissions depending on their role within the organization, making organizing the voting a great logistical and administrative challenge.
